Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking our services it is taken that you confirm you understand and accept the terms and conditions & you agree to abide by the following: : 

1. Payment in full is required if an appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment date. 
2. Samples must be collected and labelled ahead of our arrival. Additional fees for delays due to waiting for samples to be collected may be applied, as this impacts upon appointments for the remainder of the day. For Equisal tests, horses must not have eaten, drunk or been exercised for 30 min ahead of  arrival. 
3. Please be at farm at least 20 minutes before appointment slots in case we are running early. 
4. Unless otherwise agreed, you are required to pay for the number of tests you have booked, even if you are unable to provide samples on the day.  You cannot change the service to a reduced booking on the day as time has been allocated for you and it will not be possible for us to fill this slot at short notice. 
5. We may ask you to make a payment of 50% of your service to secure your booking, this will then be deducted from your bill on your appointment. This is non-refundable but it is transferable.
6. Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be received in full before leaving the yard for on site processing. For collection service; payment must be received in full, before samples are processed and results released. Please note the older the sample is at time of processing the less reliable results are.
7. Outstanding payments will incur a late payment charge. Charges will be applied at the rate of £5 every Monday payment is outstanding and the amount payable will continue to accrue until paid in full or passed to a debt collection agency. Any payments that are 90 days past due will be referred to a debt collection agency and additional charges will apply.  
8. Worm egg counts can only report on eggs found in the sample provided. Results are more accurate the fresher the sample is. Samples over 24 hours old are less reliable.
9. Due to the erratic shedding patterns of some parasites, as well as limits of detection and the male parasite population, regular counts should be undertaken to ensure that all stages of parasite development are recovered. It is important to continue with regular faecal worm egg counts especially throughout the grazing season (approx. every 8-12 weeks) as the worm life cycle includes larval stages that are not detected from a faecal worm egg count. 
10. We will not visit premises with an infectious disease (including, but not limited to, Strangles) under any circumstances. If we discover there was an infectious disease present on the day of your appointment which you were aware of and did not inform us of at the time of visit, you will be charged a sanitisation fee of £100. 
11. We reserve the right to refuse any future bookings to customers that do not abide to our terms and conditions.
